We trust our patients to know when they need to see us and we have not constrained how often our patients can book with us using our online booking system. Ensuring equitable patient access to our providers is important to us and we ask that our patients respect our time and the needs of other patients.
If a situation does occur where a patient is perceived to be misusing our online booking system a member of our team will reach out to discuss the situation. If we are unable to arrive at an agreement about what constitutes appropriate use of our online booking system we may have to restrict booking privileges.
Examples of problematic booking patterns might include:
- booking more than one appointment per day
- booking frequent appointments in the absence of an ongoing medical concern
- a pattern of booking and cancelling appointments on short notice
- failing to show up for appointments booked
